30 Portraits

So last September (2017), I took up a challenge for 30 paintings in 30 days. I didn't have a theme initially but all I know was, I'm going to play around with the idea of three set of complementary colors. On the first day of Sept, I woke up with an image of my fav pop artist Andy Warhol in mind, and the rest was history. This is how 30 Portraits was born.

Everyday, I woke up with a person in mind to paint. I studied their features, their personalities, drawing and painting to the best of my ability to let their character shine. The more I studied them, the more I'm marveled by God's creation. Every human being is so precious and we are His masterpiece of work! He doesn't seem to "run out of ideas" in creating humans.

You can view all 30 portraits (individually) on my Instagram.

Life is precious, let's love instead of hate. Let's celebrate one another's giftings and talents. I hope 30 Portraits inspire you to cultivate a culture of honor in humanity.
