About the event: Streets of Hope
Streets of Hope was the first and (possibly) the largest presentation of homegrown artists, which lined the Civic District and beyond with artworks to lift the spirits of Singaporeans as the nation experienced an unprecedented time together.
Over 360 artists submitted original artworks that spanned mediums and styles, from Chinese calligraphy to digital print, batik to performance art, revealing the breadth of art in Singapore.

Synopsis:
Incense (Prayers) was created during the Singapore’s Circuit Breaker. It represents the saints sending up prayers of peace, healing and restoration for Singapore situation to God. Believing that once the circuit breaker is lifted off, our streets will be restored to its vibrancy and lit up with a renewed hope and passion again.
